This class is not just designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. It is beneficial both to beginners, as well as experienced yogis looking for some fundamental guidance. Class is slower paced and focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses.
Some classes may include gentle vinyasa (flow) yoga that features personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, spirit, and breath–all within a playful, safe environment. Together, we come into the breath and quiet the mind as we find steadiness in asana (postures). All are encouraged to accept the beauty of their practice without needing to achieve anything other than coming into the present moment and truly experiencing it.
Meditation and pranayama (breathwork) are included in each session.
This class is suited for all levels. No experience necessary..
