Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga is a relatively new approach to a traditional yoga practice. We use a silk fabric called a ‘hammock’ or ‘swing’ to support the weight of our bodies, helping us achieve various postures with more depth, ease and excitement.Photo of Kim in an Aerial Yoga Pose
This class combines traditional yoga poses with aerial arts to add strength and find flexibility. Students will experience aspects of dance, meditation, and weightlessness with focus on breath. Available to all levels but an open heart to try new things is required.
This class is good for beginners and can help regular yogis take their practice to a new elevation.
No yoga experience is needed and swings can easily hold people up to 300 pounds.
Aerial Yoga is not recommended for anyone who has:
glaucoma, recent surgery of any sort, very high or low blood pressure, vertigo, osteoporosis or any bone weakness, carpal tunnel syndrome, recent stroke, hernia or is pregnant.

To keep everyone safe and to provide the best fitness experience class size is limited to 10 participants.
